what causes gray hairs?

I’m only 25 and I’m starting to get gray hair. Is there anyway I can prevent them or slow this down?

Beautiful, well attended, stylish grey hairs, in your younger years, is not a curse at all.

You may want to colour them, as suggested above.
Or, you may want to wear them proud.
Proud of your difference.

It is definitely something that you inherited from your Ancestors.

I have a Cousin in France, who happens to be famous. She would prefer to call herself an Artist.
She is very well known and well loved.
Her name is Catherine Lara.

She started her career when she was 27.
And her hair changed into Silver few years later.
It is in the family.
Her Brother is exactly the same.
You may check how great she looks.
She is nearly 60 now, and she has not changed !
She is my God Mother, that is why my name is Catherine.

Nope. It’s all in your genes. Probably means someone in your family (not just immediate family) went gray at a young age. Nothing you can do to slow it down or stop it, except to dye your hair.

Hair grows white when the color pigment (melanin) ceases to be produced in the hair follicle and small air spaces take its place. Check out http://useinfo-grayhair.blogspot.com/ for more info on gray hair.

Ohhhh my "poor little" Bek e…

Don’t feel bad, honey, because there is absolutely NOTHING you can do to prevent it due to the genetic background you’ve "inherited"…-smile- BUT: Don’t feel soooo bad about it, baby, because…as long as there’s "hair-coloring-products", you can always make use of it !

I have the same "problem", but take it "in strive" and color my hair every 5-6 weeks…and as long as you use a good conditioner, it will not "damage" your hair all that much!

So…just accept it and start coloring, babe ! Since it’s in "your genes", there’s nothing you can do to "change it" ! But…just think….you could have "cancer" in your genes….and that would be MUCH WORSE, so be happy that you’re healthy baby ! All else can be taken care of with some "Clairol"/L’Oreal or whatever product….-smile-

Send you all my best wishes and all my love & care…..Annette***
