Board chair Shirley Brown-VanArsdale asked Mark Ferguson, college counsel, to communicate the findings and results of an inquiry and investigation as to whether the college violated the Kansas Open Meetings Act during an executive session of the board meeting on Feb. 19. Ferguson reviewed statements made in the media, notes made when investigating the matter, the minutes of the meeting, relevant statutes, and interpretation of KOMA both by the Kansas courts and the office of the attorney general. He also spoke with the Kansas attorney generals office and an assistant district attorney in Johnson County. After a complete review of the facts and circumstances surrounding the allegations, he is of the opinion that no violations of KOMA occurred at the February meeting and that the board fully complied with the Kansas Open Meetings Act and with its own board policies related to conducting an executive session.
 
Faculty Association
Mike Martin, president of the Faculty Association, reviewed aspects of the current negotiation process and announced the associations endorsement of four candidates for the board election: Bob Drummond, Peter Jouras, Melody Rayl and Stephanie Sharp.
 
Student Senate
Andre Jones, Senate president, gave the board an overview of upcoming events, such as Daffodil Day on March 27 and a rally to show appreciation for the colleges championship teams on April 1.
 
Foundation
Trustee Don Weiss reviewed upcoming Foundation events, including the Dollars for Scholars auction on April 24.
 
KACCT
Trustee Lynn Mitchelson reported that he and Dr. Calaway had met with the new executive director of the Kansas Association of Community College Trustees about funding issues raised in the Kansas legislature.

Okay here the episode 7 from shape of my heart okay im going to write it in the decscription for this time only so here we go!!! Hope you like it!!
——-Outside the school———
Demi and her friends are waiting for jesse to arrive to school when they see a red corvet pull into the schools parking lot…… and see a tall-ish dirty blondish haired guy wearing brown sunglasses,,with dark-blue jeans that have holes on his thigh and knee…. he also is wearing a white V neck with a brown leather jacket and a pair of gray converese…..As he walks towards demi and her friends there kinda just like a little startled and when the guy finally gets to them…..
Demi: Um im sorry we don’t know you?
???: (Titles his sunglasses to the bridge of his nose and puts on a small smile)
Everybody: Ohhh……..
Joe: Hey man whats up? (do a little a handsake)
Jesse: Oh nothing really just been sleeping and singing… (giggles)
Selena, Demi, and Chelsea: (Hug him and say hi)
Jesse: hi girl….Havent seen you sicene the concert how have you been?
Demi: Oh nothing just been hanging out with the guys and going out to movies..
Selena: Yeah thats pretty much it..
Chelsea: Yup hehe….
Jesse: Thats cool……Hey so does taylor come to this school or is she home-schooled?
Kevin: She”s home-schooled….(says under his breathe) Unfortunitly…..
Demi: Awwww its okay kev… we see her after school….
Kevin: Yeah i know its just that..Wait you know?!?!
Demi: Kevin i dont mean to be mean but everybody knows…… (A little smile)
Nick: Yup sorry dude just hearing it in your sleep gets kinda….you know…….
Kevin: Yeah yeah yeah i know……
Demi: Oh hey Jesse would you like to come to tay’s house everyday after school?
Jesse: will she be okay with it?
Demi: Yeah she will she picks us up..So yeah.
Jesse: Okay then….
———-The Bell Rings————
Chelsea: Oh thats the bell so Jesse who do you have today?
Jesse: Oh (looks at his shceldule) Um Mrs. Escobor.
Joe: Oh me and demi have that class you can sit next to us…
Jesse: Great!!!
———-Lunch Outside————
Joe: Hey guys can i talk to you?
Jesse, Kevin, and Nick: Yeah sure…. (follow joe)
Kevin: So whats up dude?
Joe: OKay well you see i like this girl in our group and i wanna ask her out but i dont know how?
Jesse: Let me guess….Demi……..
Joe: What? When? where’d you hear that from?
Jesse: Demi told me…
Joe: Really when?
Jesse: It was in 2a….
Joe: How i have that class….
Jesse: You were to busy snoring your off..
Joe: Oh…….
Jesse: Yup!
Nick: Wow is that all she said?
Jesse: Yeah pretty much….why?
Nick: Oh well… i-i um i need your guys help too….
Kevin, Joe and Jesse:….Really……
Nick: Yup i also like someone in the group and i need alot of help!?..
Jesse: Oh let me guess again…. Selena…..
Nick: Dude like seriously whos your sorce?
Jesse: (giggles) Dude i guess that one….
Nick: What… do i make it obivous?
Jesse: Oh you know not that much.
Joe: Dude yeha right you totally maded it obvious..
Kevin: Dude not even i didn’t notice.
Joe: Thats because you dont notice anything… Like yesterday Demi got her hair done…. And nobody noticed exept me, Chelsea, and Selena….
Nick: Dude because all you do is stare at her i cant believe she hasnt noticed…..
Demi: Oh hey guys what are you talking about (because she heard her name)…
Joe: Oh d-demi what are you doing here………
Kevin: (nervous laugh) HAHA! yeah why you here?
Nick: (hits kevin in the arm)
Kevin: OWWWW! What the hell! dude what the hells wrong with you!
Nick: Ugh! (pulls kevin and walks away)
Demi: Are you guys talking about me?
Joe: Pssft!! No of course not!!!!!
Jesse: Dude!!
Joe: No! were not why would we!
Jesse: Dude!!!
Joe: Your to nice for somebody to be talking about you!
Jesse: Ugh! ( Thinking – He cant do anything b y himself!) (Pushs him closer to demi which causes him to lock lips with demi)
Chelsea: So and then he jumped off the freaking bilding and…. (Gets hit in the arm by selena)
Selena: DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOOK OVER THERE!!!!!!!!!!
Chelsea: (Looks)
Selena and Chelsea: AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Joe and Demi: (Pull apart and look in eachothers eyes)
Demi: (has a big smile on her face) So what does this mean?
Joe: (Smiling) It means this…. Will you be my girlfriend?
Demi: (Thinking – Did he just say what i think he said? OMJ! YES HE DID!!) (back to reality) Of coruse!!!! (Hugs him)
Joe: (Hugs back)
