How long will it take for my hair to gray?

So, I’m going to be a sophomore in highschool this year and yesterday I found my first gray hair. My moms hair started to turn gray at my age, and I’m upset about mine. I’ve only found one, but how long will it take for me to be completely gray?
It can happen anytime in a person’s life. I know someone who got grey hair at age 19. It’s different for everyone!

well many ppl go grey at a young age because they dye there hair alot so that may be why ur hair is goin grey cuz wen u dye it it either turns grey or white ,
or it myt just be in ur family but normally ppl go grey at like late ages if they dont dye there hair a lot

Stress, genetics, and hormones are all a factor, but the answer of when varies from person to person. I had an ex-boyfriend who had tons of gray hair at the age of 23. I started noticing my first ones around 21, and when I got pregnant at 22 I noticed that I got a WHOLE lot more (due to the pregnancy hormones). I have a streak of gray near my left temple, but I still think it will be quite a while yet before I’m fully gray. Most people will not have to worry about going totally gray until their late 30′s, even if they’re genetically predisposed.
Also, there are so many kinds of hair dye products that are out there that its possible to never have to really worry about it at all.
