Good point.
Good point.
Probably based on …
Probably based on the decision of the producers…..since I don’t watch it on a cosistent basis that much I take that they don’t use the red curtain anymore since most of the games that used it are either retired, updated or moved to the Race Game curtain.
Why do you suppose …
Why do you suppose they changed locations with “Cliff Hangers”?
Cliffy back then up …
Cliffy back then up until now was behind the red curtain…as well as Punch before it got the update in the late 90′s and was moved to the price tag.
“Cliff Hangers” is …
“Cliff Hangers” is behind the “Race Game” curtain. But, I still get the message about PAP. Was the old ‘Punch-a-Bunch” set also behind the red curtain?
Pick a Pair was …
Pick a Pair was concealed behind the red curtain back then………like Cliff Hangers and others games that were either too tall or wide for the giant price tag.
Where was ” …
Where was “Pick-a-Pair” hidden behind before its Giant Price Tag days? Or was it brought out and set up while the prize is being described.
HAHA, what a neat …
HAHA, what a neat little Pick-A-Pair set and carnival ditty…they should bring that back.
That’s not a horn, …
That’s not a horn, it’s a buzzer
1:01 1:03 1:05?
…
1:01 1:03 1:05?
OVER BID HORN!
Not to mention that …
Not to mention that it’s a “Gay 90′s” cart.
(2:40) The popcorn …
(2:40) The popcorn cart has been “perfect for big parties” and has come “with its own two-wheel cart for easy moving” for more than 20 years now. I wonder how many other prizes have had little to no copy changes over the years.
I remember seeing …
I remember seeing TPIR as a kid. And as for the hillbilly music, remember it’s just a game show, and it was taped a long time ago. Anyone who finds the music offensive doesn’t live in the real world. There is no law that gives anyone the right not to be offended. Have a nice day.
two things i miss …
two things i miss about this clip,
1.the cue played during the prize reveal, should be used more for race game and take two imo
2.the star studded race game curtain that was the standard on the show from the mid 80s to about 1991 or so
It seems like …
It seems like everything’s offensive to somebody nowadays.
I guess so, but who …
I guess so, but who knows?
Not in 1987.
Not in 1987.
This version of ” …
This version of “American Patrol” was a march played by a pipe organ.
Why would they play …
Why would they play bluegrass, or “hillbilly music” when they showed the camping trailer? Some people might take that as offensive.
