Should I just let my hair go grey?
I’m a 48 year old woman. My natural hair colour is (was!) very dark brown, almost black. I never had a grey hair until around about forty when they started appearing at my hairline. I never ever used hair colour in my life as I don’t generally like the look of ‘fake’ colour. Then when I was 43, I had my first highlights, a sort of honey colour with the roots of course coloured my natural colour as a base. It looked really well. I am now considering letting the grey grow out to see how it would look and to give my hair a break from chemical treatments. I would say I am almost white around the hairline but the rest of my hair is still very brown. Normally I look about 33. Yes I’m lucky! I have very young skin and am slim and youthful. I just wonder would this greyness look dreadful. Any advice please?
Grow old gracefully, enjoy it for what it is a new chapter in an ever changing cycle that will bring it’s own rewards with your new mature look.
How can you make gray hair look sexy?
My 12-year-old daugher has visible gray hair. ALot of it. She get’s teased alot too. And she complains about it. People call her "old"
It’s really annoying just be harrassed for one small flaw.
It doesn’t look very nice, you’ve got to admit tho with her very short very curly hair.
Got any ideas how to make it better?
No coloring. It will make it worst.
"Sexy" isn’t the real keyword. It’s just that she’s afraid no boy will like her because she has gray hair.
I want to know a way how I can get rid of it or deal with it.
Are you opposed to getting it colored??
How do you cover up gray hair?
I have dark brown hair and quite a bit of gray is coming in. I was thinking about using blonde dye to turn my grays into highlights, but I’m afraid that it will lighten the rest of my hair.

How long will it take for my hair to gray?
So, I’m going to be a sophomore in highschool this year and yesterday I found my first gray hair. My moms hair started to turn gray at my age, and I’m upset about mine. I’ve only found one, but how long will it take for me to be completely gray?
It can happen anytime in a person’s life. I know someone who got grey hair at age 19. It’s different for everyone!
Is there anyway to stop or slow the growth of gray hair?
Is there anyway to stop or slow the growth of gray hair?
Any vitamins or remedies?
I don’t think there is any remedy for grey hair nor slowing grey hair. It seems like out body suddenly stop producing the colour needed for the hair. In the market, nowadays, there are plenty of hair tonics for sale claiming good results. The only good results we definately can get is from hair dye. What if someone is able to come up with a supplement that we can take orally to make the body produce the colour need by the hair, that will be good.
Why do I have gray hair at such a young age?
I am 19 years old and 25% of my hair is gray. It has been turning gray since I was about 16. I am afraid thet by time I turn 25 my whole head will be covered. Can anyone give me an idea of why my hair is turning gray. Some say it is hereditary but no one in my family got gray hair before 37.
It’s not uncommon that people in their younger years experience graying. Melanin is produced in the hair bulb and when it does not produce melanin it causes the hair to grow out gray. It can be hereditary, or it can come from many other factors. Don’t think that gray hair is a sign of aging, it’s actually not; your hair is just missing color pigments that is produced by melanin.
Hope this helps…
Note: There are seniors who have not had one gray hair; so you don’t have to be old to have a gray hair.
Is Cellophane hair treatments dangerous for your hair?

Im starting to go gray and am premenopausal, my hair is giving me problems?
My hair used to be totally straight. Now that Im just starting to become premenopausal my hair has started to become kind of curly, frizzy and drier. The main problem I am having is my numerous gray hairs like to stick straight up when they are growing out. Also the frizziness makes my hair always look messy…HELP. I now wear my hair pulled back in a bun or ponytail but the hairs stick out and constantly look messy and unbrushed, even when Ive just pulled it back. Ive tried numerous deep conditioning treatments and buy leave in conditioners and smoothing balms, silk therapy etc.. How do I manage my frizzy, messy hair?
if you have frizzy hair, but want curly hair, try this:
use Denise McAdams hair serum shampoo stuff, or Nicky Clarke. you have to wash your hair in warm water, not hot because heat activates certain hormones and your hair will be lifeless and limp.
dont brush your hair when it’s dry; only when its wet, that will help to get proper curls. dont use a hair dryer cuz that will just dry your hair out and make it REAL frizzy!
hope this helps! phants x x x
hair color?
my sister color her hair roots every month to cover the grey hair. Can hair color cost problems to the hair and scalp later on if used too often? She treats her hair with treatment oil and such…. though after each coloring.
As long as she’s taking care of her hair she should be fine. If a problem with her scalp were to happen most likely it would happen right after it was dyed, so if she’s not having any problems she should be all set.

is there any treatment (homeopathy) for grey hair?
Prevention of graying hair is one thing and TREATMENT another. Emu Oil suggestion by an answerer is well taken but again it is only for preventive purposes and is NOT curative.
The only known NATURAL thing known to TREAT premature graying of hair and even reversing it is Fo-Ti. It’s also called Hu Shou Wu and has been researched in the western countries for this fact. This herb also has various other benefits for human metabolism and gets a safe solution i.e without any chemicals; so no side-effects.
Talking of hair health, what you should be looking for are natural products only – not the ordinary, so-called, namesake herbal ones but REAL ones. What you should be looking for are special ingredients like Kelp, Saw Palmetto, Nettle, Roobois extract, etc that help for healthy hair. These and many more important things for hair and scalp are available in various forms in the Segals Solutions Program. It’s now available in India and is perhaps the best quality product that can be thought of. All natural extracts, no harmful chemicals. Incredible results.
Advise you to appreciate that it has so much in it which none else has. Make an honest independent study and check for yourself. Or you may speak to their helpline to get any advice about hair-health. It’s doesn’t cost anything and is really encouraging.
P.S: More than Emu Oil, what will moisturize your hair is Hempseed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter, Hydrolysed Wheat Protein and Comfrey extract. Again, all these form part of the Segals Solutions.
